Vinylester Resin For Skincoat

RV2025 is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic vinylester resin to be used as a thin layer in the creation of the mould or other composite parts. Laminated in a thin layer – skincoat – this vinylester resin allows to: provide the hardness and heat resistance necessary for the realization of a durable mould that requires reduced maintenance, increase the resistance to breakage of the gelcoat caused by flexing and impact of the laminate, and enhance the resistance to osmosis. It also enables the production of composite parts with excellent hardness.

When high thermo-mechanical properties are required in the finished product, RV2025 can also be used as a vinylester laminating resin, suitable for the entire lamination process in demanding composite manufacturing applications.
